ZINKY ELECTRONICS INTRODUCES “MASTER BLASTER”
The Ultimate Clean Boost for Guitar and Bass
FLAGSTAFF, AZ. — December 11, 2003 — This January Zinky Electronics
will begin shipping “Master Blaster,” the ultimate clean boost device
for guitar and bass. Master Blaster is designed for use with all styles of
playing, is extremely quiet in operation, has a highly versatile tone control,
and can be plugged directly into a variety of amplifiers. Most notedly, Master
Blaster can add up to 9 dB of clean volume to an amp without coloring the
tone in ANY way at all. Master Blaster can also be set to add a treble “shimmer”
to the tone, or conversely, to “warm up” an overly bright tone.
Master Blaster includes separate tone and volume controls, and a true bypass
footswitch for on/off operation, all powered by a 9V battery or 9V power adaptor
(included). The Master Blaster’s electronics are housed in a rugged brushed
stainless steel case with eye catching graphics and a dazzling blue LED. As
with all Zinky products, Master Blaster is made exclusively in the USA by
Zinky Electronics.
Following the huge success of their dual overdrive pedal “True Grit”
(which included a nomination for effect of the year), Zinky Electronics moves
ahead to expand their line of signal processors. Bruce Zinky comments, “A
number of our professional users had expressed interest in a pedal that would
work well for both guitar and bass, to hit the front end of a tube amp a little
harder, or to just boost clean volume for solos. A friend of mine calls this
‘getting the tone into the zone’. I wanted to have the loudest,
easiest to use, most natural sounding clean boost, bar none. So I had to make
something to keep us all happy.” With simple tone and volume controls,
the Master Blaster meets the professional’s needs, is a cinch to dial
in, and is versatile enough to be used in a variety of situations. The suggested
