Left Handed Warwick Streamer LX Special 4 String - More Info Vavona Burl is the name of this attractive burl wood from the
root of the sequoia or redwood tree, leaving the observer in awe.
By no means is this a sacrifice of one of the patriarchal giants of
a virgin forest for the top wood of the instrument because redwoods
are common in California. Because such elegant grains present in the
burl wood are very rare even in the widespread redwood, a one inch
Vavona Burl top on this Streamer LX Special Edition is not only a
fascination but an exclusivity to say the least. The elegance of this
bass is also enhanced with the contrast between the reddish wood top
and the black hardware, rounded off perfectly with a black veneer
between top and body as well as a dark tiger-stripe ebony fingerboard.
The body is made of swamp ash, a proven component, and the neck is
made of multiple ovangkol stripes. The Bartolini 2-band electronics
provide flexible sound possibilities. |
